How to read a cite

Florida's official hierarchy is chapter → section → subsection → paragraph → subparagraph → sub-subparagraph, so in 718.112(2)(f) the 718 is the chapter (Condominium Act), .112 the section, (2) the subsection and (f) the paragraph. In conversation everyone just says "seven-eighteen point one-twelve, two, f."

SB / HB = Senate / House Bill. "As amended by SB 154 (2023)" means read the section in its post-2023 form — SB 154 was the post-Surfside condo-safety glitch bill.
